The Rarest Fortnite Skins (OG Skins You Can't Get Anymore)

5 min readUpdated October 3, 2026

A skin is rare when there's no way to unlock it today. These are the ones collectors chase — and the only way to own them now is an account that already has them.

Season 1 item shop legends

  • Renegade Raider — sold in the Season 1 item shop to players level 20+, never returned.
  • Aerial Assault Trooper — a Season 1 item shop skin locked behind level 15, never returned.

Early Battle Pass skins

Battle Pass rewards are never re-released, so every early pass skin is permanently limited to players who had that pass.

  • Black Knight — tier 70 of the Season 2 Battle Pass.
  • Blue Squire, Royale Knight and Sparkle Specialist — also from the Season 2 Battle Pass.
  • The Reaper (tier 100) and Dark Voyager (tier 70) — Season 3 Battle Pass.
  • Omega (tier 100) and Carbide (tier 1) — Season 4 Battle Pass.

Promo exclusives

  • Galaxy and IKONIK — originally exclusive to certain Samsung devices.
  • Wonder and Honor Guard — originally exclusive to Honor phones.
  • Glow — originally tied to Samsung Galaxy A-series phones.
  • Double Helix and Royale Bomber — originally only in Nintendo Switch bundles.

Event skins

  • Travis Scott — released for the Astronomical concert in April 2020 and never sold again.
  • Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper — the original Halloween 2017 skins (they've returned in later years, but OG owners have the original styles).

How to get one today

Because none of these can be unlocked anymore, buying an account that already owns them is the only option. Each skin above has its own page showing live accounts that have it — and the cheapest current price.

How can I buy an account with an OG skin?+

Open the skin's page (for example Black Knight) to see live accounts that own it, or search for it with your budget.
