How to Buy a Valorant Account Safely

5 min readUpdated October 3, 2026

A Valorant account is only useful if it's on your region, at the rank you want, and stays yours. Here's how to check all three.

Check the region first

Valorant accounts are locked to a region (such as Europe, North America or Asia-Pacific). An account from the wrong region will connect you to the wrong servers, so make sure the listing's region matches where you play.

Rank and level

Ranked play needs the account to be at least level 20. Listings show the current rank and level, so you can pick a ranked-ready account or one at the exact rank you want.

Skins and agents

Premium skins rotate through the store in bundles and may not come back for a long time. If you want a specific skin or knife, buying an account that already owns it is the fastest way to get it — check the full weapon skin list on the listing.

The seller and the payment

Pay through a marketplace that delivers the login automatically, and check the seller's history. On Konvy, every listing shows the seller's sales, feedback and recovery rate, and you pay Konvy rather than the seller.

Secure it straight away

  1. Change the account email to your own.
  2. Set a new password.
  3. Enable two-factor authentication in your Riot account settings.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change a Valorant account's region?+

Riot ties accounts to a region and only allows changes in limited cases, so buy an account that's already on your region.

What level do I need for ranked?+

Level 20. Many listings are already past that and can queue ranked immediately.

Is buying a Valorant account allowed?+

Riot's terms don't allow account transfers, so there's always some risk — buying from sellers with a strong track record and securing the account quickly keeps it low.
